In the world of entertainment, there is always news. Whether it be gossip about a new couple rolling around Hollywood, or a feud between long time costars or friends that is about boil over, there is always something new to talk about. Each week a few stories and headlines capture the attention of entertainment lovers all of over the world and this past week has a few stories that many people are interested in.

In Hollywood everyone loves babies and there were two born in the past few days that deserve mentioning.

Hollywood movie star and daughter of Goldy Hawn, Kate Hudson welcomed her 2nd child and first with her fiance Matt Bellamy, who is a British Rocker and part of the band Muse. This will be Hudson’s 2nd son to go along with her other son Ryder whose father also happens to be a rocker Chris Robinson who is the lead singer of the band Black Crowes. Robinson and Hudson divorced in 2007 and her and Bellamy were just engaged this past April.

Soccer stud David Beckham and wife Victoria Beckham also brought in a baby this week. The former Spice Girl gave birth around 7:55 AM on Sunday to a baby girl. The couple decided on the name Harper Seven Beckham to give to their first baby girl. Harper Seven Beckham will be the 6th member of the family after Victoria had three boys prior to this week. The baby is perfectly healthy and her brothers are said to be “delighted” to have a baby sister finally here.

Arguably the biggest entertainment news of the week belongs to the the Prince once again. Prince William and Kate Middleton just toured North America and spent a few days in California and Canada. All eyes have been on the royal couple for the past few years after announcing their engagement and then the world got a look in at the “royal wedding” that billions of people all over the globe tuned in to. The couple had a laundry list of events to on their agenda in California and even though it was a guarantee that they were wiped out, they showed up looking as good as ever. Some of their events included an outdoor reception at the British Consulgeneral’s residence, a charity polo match, another charity event (Reese Witherspoon was there), a visit to an inner-city art area and finally an event to benefit service men and women. Prince William ended that event with a speech that received praise from everyone involved.
