Wednesday January 3rd 2007

Each time we get on stage we sing as if it were the last time,
as if there were no other shows to come...

And so, for 2007, we wish you this brand new year,
as if there were no other years to come...
To do everthing you've always dreamed of doing,
to see all those you'd like to see and to go wherever the wind blows you.
We wish you to be as healthy, as happy and as creative as you can be!

And then there's always another show, the next day, the next week,
the next month, the next year and sometimes you just don't know when.
That's part of the game and the way you play it...
This way we've performed Judy and Me more than 200 times.

When we attended the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2005
we didn't know where we would go next...
We went to Harrogate, Holland, New York, London and Germany,
with our own projects and those of others.

This year we're proud to announce that Une étoile et moi... to Judy Garland
(Yes, they prefer the French title, a proof of taste, no doubt) will be part
of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2007 in Australia.

The box office is already open and seats can be booked on
the Adelaide Cabaret Festival website: www.adelaidecabaret.com

Also in Adelaide we will be creating a new show called I Wish You Love, with 4 local musicans as a full rhythm section.

The show is created upon the request of many,
with an international repertoire of songs sung in French, English,
Yiddish and maybe even in Dutch. A personal repertoire and material
from classical and contemporary songwriters like Jacques Brel,
Edith Piaf, Charles Anzavour, Kurt Weill, our friend Maury Yeston,
Randy Newman, Stephen Sondheim and Cy Coleman...

This Friday January 19th we'll be in Rotterdam, date to date,
exactly five years after the very first show in Amsterdam. Time flies.
Tickets can be booked on: www.lantaren-venster.nl
(Choose: Theater en Dans - Maandagenda - Judy and Me)

A video chapter with a 1.5 minute trailer of the show has been added
to the site. If you wish, leave your impressions in the guestbook.

Best wishes,
Isabelle and Frédérik.
